Founder Story
Hello, I’m Laura St. Come, founder of SIR, a place built on a dream, a need, and a profound respect for the power of a woman’s spirit. I came to the United States from Haiti in 1998, shortly after losing my mother, a remarkable woman who taught me the art of resilience and the soul of entrepreneurship. She planted within me a seed—the belief that I could create something greater than myself, something that could uplift and inspire others. I’ve walked through many worlds: from modeling for renowned brands to serving tables in the food and beverage industry, door knocking to sell goods on commission only for retailers and ultimately to becoming an insurance broker, motivational speaker, entrepreneur and business owner. Each experience taught me something invaluable, shaping my path with clarity and purpose.
Vision
Through my journey, I’ve observed that women often carry the weight of the world—striving, caring, and giving endlessly. And yet, we are usually left seeking spaces where we feel safe, cherished, and celebrated. Unfortunately, many of us end up in places or with people where disrespect, unpleasantries and even harm is inflicted instead.
SIR is my answer to that need—a sanctuary where women can unwind without worry, surrounded by an attentive, respectful all-male staff dedicated to making each woman feel seen, valued, and uplifted.
